Mark, a retired US Navy veteran, transitioned from a military career to a passion for working with horses after leaving the service in 1996. It was in 2008 that Mark truly immersed himself in the horse culture of the El Paso area, where he honed his skills in training both personal and client horses.
A dedicated member of the El Paso Sheriffs Pose for several years, Mark actively participated in numerous horse events, showcasing their expertise and love for equines. For the past three years, Mark served as a ranch manager at Rock Ranch, overseeing operations and caring for the horses under their charge.
Currently, Mark has joined forces with two talented horsemen and horsewomen, leasing an entire ranch to establish a unique equine activity environment. Their focus ranges from horse training to equine-assisted therapy, with a special emphasis on catering to veterans in need of healing and support.
Mark also enjoys working with new and experienced riders on guided trail rides through the southwest desert, sharing knowledge and passion for horses with others.
With a wealth of experience in the equestrian world and a deep commitment to serving the veteran community, Mark continues to make a meaningful impact through their work with horses and dedication to promoting equine-assisted activities for those in need.
